Adobe® InDesign® has set a new standard for professional layout and design. It is more than the new kid on the block; it is, in our opinion, the future of desktop publishing. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, InDesign is an extremely intuitive and powerful page layout application.
In this intense two-day course we will teach you how to greatly increase your efficiency and improve your workflow. You will learn basic page layout, how to manipulate graphics and text, designing style sheets, creating master pages, adding colors and gradients, creating drop shadows and feathering, working with layers, transparencies settings, text formatting, creating libraries, tables, using contextual menus, and quite a bit more! Essential typography rules are also covered.
For those of you switching from QuarkXPress® we will educate you on how to do everything in InDesign that you were accustomed to doing in QuarkXPress. At the end of this two-day class, you will be very knowledgeable in the basics of page layout and will be sure that the files you create will be ready for press.
